    Christmas Goodie Baskets

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! If you have been keeping up with us you can probably tell I’m all about traditions, creating new ones and keeping old ones alive. When we were kids my parents always let us open one gift before Christmas and most of the time it was pajama’s. As we got older it would change but we were always given a little something. A few years ago I kept seeing post about Christmas Eve boxes, which I thought was a really cool idea. But a year ago I decided I wanted to start a tradition of creating Christmas goodie baskets. I wanted to give…

    Halloween Boo Baskets

I love Halloween- growing up my mom has always been big into Halloween. So, we can just say that’s where I get it from. I enjoy decorating with all the cute Halloween decorations; and all of the different Halloween crafts along with watching all of the classic Halloween movies. I love to do all of these things with my kids- they enjoy all of it as much as I do. So, I try to make each month a little special especially when there is something (big) going on that month like a holiday or some sort of celebration. I put together little lesson plans and crafts for each month.. Of…

    Halloween Buckets for Toddlers

Hey! Hey! Hey! It is officially spooky season and actually has been for over a week now! All of the holidays are approaching and I couldn’t be more excited. I love getting into the spirit of every holiday. I don’t really consider Halloween as a holiday but we do different activities during fall/ Halloween time. As usual, I’m a little behind on sharing- I just get caught up in the moment and we have had a lot going on so, I haven’t had much time to share all of the fun things. Ever since I can remember my mom would do something special with us every holiday such as give…

    Salt Dough Ornaments

Ever since I was a kid we always had Christmas traditions that I’ll forever cherish. Now, that I have children of my own. Cody and I decided we wanted to carry out some of those traditions with our own family. I’d like to take this time to share some of those things with y’all.  One of the things we did when I was a kid was make homemade ornaments. My mom still puts them on her tree every year. I think that is something that is just so precious and meaningful to look back on years later. To remember all of those special memories that were made with your family.…

How To Make A Mesh Garland.

Wow! I haven’t been on here in a while. Let us all just agree it’s 2020 and this year has just been crazy in general. I started decorating early this year for Christmas because we all needed some holiday cheer in our lives with the way this year has been. I hope that anyone who is reading this is staying healthy and safe. Prayers for anyone who is having a hard time and if you aren’t religious- sending some positive vibes your way! This year for Christmas we decided to change things up a little bit and create a small little theme on our tree. The girls love the Grinch,…

    Halloween Birthday and Fall Decor.

Good afternoon, I’ve been so busy lately I haven’t had time to make a new post. Things have settled down a little bit today, so, wanted to take the time to talk about a birthday party we just had for my oldest. She is my little October baby and loves all things Halloween- I think she gets that from me. (She also loves everything about every other holiday… but that’s for a different post.) When asking Charlotte what kind of birthday party she wanted to have she had requested a Halloween party. That’s exactly what we did- we threw her a 3rd spooktacular birthday. In this post I’m going to…
